Climb, chop, and saw your way to the Morton Loggers' Jubilee!
Looking for something to do this weekend? Climb, chop, and saw
your way to the Morton Loggers' Jubilee!
Morton
Located 32 miles east of the I-5 corridor is a small town by
the name of Morton. It is the largest population center east of I-5 in Lewis
County. Typically, in a town this size, you would not find a hospital or banks
or a car dealership, but Morton isn't your typical small town! Morton acts as
the eastern hub of Lewis County and even has direct access to Tacoma via Highway
7. You are minutes from outdoor recreational opportunities such as climbing,
hiking, lakes, fishing, boating, hunting, and other activities year round! If
you enjoy the small town atmosphere, love to "get away", but also
enjoy big town amenities and culture, Morton is THE place to be!
Loggers' Jubilee
Although known for being the birthplace of country recording
artist Brandy Clark, Morton is best known for its annual Morton Loggers'
Jubilee! More than just a tree cutting competition, the Morton Loggers' Jubilee
is a 4-day long event that has something for everyone! Parades, lawn mower races,
10K run, bed races, music, theater, a queen coronation, flea markets, and of course, logging shows! Events begin as
early as 6am and final events start as late as 8 pm. What are you waiting for? Climb,
chop, and saw your way to the Morton Loggers' Jubilee, happening now!
